How to keep our internet privacy – part I

When we register on a website, we will be required and an email address. Most put their real email address. Those who administer the site can use these email addresses to send us unsolicited messages (spam),they may sell database on all those email addresses are spam or if you have good security, anyone who has little knowledge of how to access the security holes, I can see all the data that we have entered at registration.

Some websites keep their passwords in text format, when they should be stored encrypted.
We all use the same email and same password for almost any site, so:
1. Never use the same password to register on a site like the one used for the main email address
2. Use a secondary email address,if you don’t trust any site
3. Never use your real name (only for online shopping, where they need your real name)
4. Don’t show personal information on your profile. Dates of birth, name of dog, PIN or other sensitive data are most vulnerable. With these usually can guess your passwords from various accounts.

Well, now when you already know these tips, you should be more careful with yourself. These simple things can help you to have a safe life, without any kind of dangers, because nobody knows your personal information. And don’t forget: always use a fake name when you use websites just for fun.
