Mozilla has implemented the seventeenth version of the Firefox browser has a new option called security Click to Play, this meant having to block automatic execution of old plugins manually confirm it. Company will not stop here, however, announced yesterday that it will take even more drastic.

Mozilla has compiled and maintained a list of plugins and extensions problem before release number 17, but it was pretty short and contained only software modules serious security breaches or unstable. With Firefox 17, the option Click to Play has been implemented, users were able to meet some more often these warnings because the list of software modules problems arose and older versions of some common plugins such as Adobe Flash, Adobe Reader and Microsoft Silverlight.

As announced yesterday, Mozilla has decided that in the name of security and stability, block by default all plugins installed, the only exceptions being the latest version of Adobe Flash extremely useful. Approved versions of Mozilla is currently 11.5 for Windows platform (up to version 7 inclusive) and OS X (10.6, 10.7 and 10.8), 11.3 and 10.3 for Windows 8 for OSX 10.4 and 10.5. All previous versions of Adobe Flash 10.2 and they are locked automatically, the user must manually confirm their run.

Outside versions of Adobe Flash mentioned above, future versions of Firefox will automatically block any plugin running. Click to Play will warn about this behavior and users can choose, for each site, which plugins will be loaded automatically next visit or, conversely, that plugins will be blocked permanently.

Mozilla did not say when we’ll see these changes incorporated into the final versions of the Firefox browser. At this point, the option Click to Play is limited to a few software modules considered dangerous, but users can enable them by blocking all altered parameter value plugins.click_to_play configuration page about: config.

After they talked several times about the operating system OS Firefox, Mozilla presented today the first handsets powered by it. Named Keon and Peak, new mobile devices are developed by Telefonica and Geeksphone and are designed for developers interested in the platform.

The first terminal, Keon, not too impressive specifications, but Moziila Foundation aims and ambitions of emerging markets where price is a critical issue.

Keon has a screen 3.5 “HVGA resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor clocked at 1 GHz RAM with a capacity of 512 MB and 4 GB internal storage which can be expanded with a MicroSD card. First handset modem Firefox OS offers tri-band 2G and 3G quad-band plus 802.11n wireless connectivity. Equipment list also include a camera of 3 MP sensor, a battery with a capacity of 1580 mAh, GPS and accelerometer.

With this terminal, telephone and Geeksphone developed a second model, more impressive in terms of hardware, but Mozilla did not mention that this product makes us think that this might occur later.

Peak will provide a screen diagonal of 4.3 “qHD IPS and resolution, hardware platform will be a much more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chip clocked at 1.2 GHz. Connectivity and storage facilities are the same, but Peak will provide a camera of 8 MP sensor and a 2 MP front partner, making battery also a jump to 1800 mAh.

Mozilla Foundation has not communicated the price of the terminal, but they will be launched in the next month.

Update 7.8 will bring users Windows platform Phone 7 new start-up screen in Windows phone 8, an improved version of Internet Explorer browser 9, themes color gamut, Lock Screen dynamic and more flexibility for the management ring tones. Beyond these details generic, you will have to wait for official launch to find out all the improvements.

With a respectable size to 66 MB, and running only in your browser, Firefox, this small emulator is compatible with Windows platforms, OS X and Linux. Beyond the software modules that require dedicated hardware, such as radio module or the camera, this extension provides an operating system function.

The package contains a series of common applications, such as computer, client messaging, calendar or clock and provides access to your browser, Firefox or at the shop applications. In addition to this, the user can experiment with some multi-tasking, emergency location information number by pressing solemnity the sole hardware button of the platform, the settings menu or menu for the notifications, as well as Everithyng.me, but which did not seem functional at this time.

Firefox OS is an operating system for mobile terminals that it does not wish to prejudice and a new platform for developing applications, but is it only a gate exclusive to Web applications.

n the same way as Android in the days when it was just a project to or Chrome OS, Boot to Gecko will only provide a kernel, drivers, and the level of generalization hardware (Gonk) required for starting a graphic medium HTML5 (Gaia) and the environment for running applications that is based on Gecko render engine and a series API public Web.

1. Keep you tabs

One of the most appreciated features of Firefox is the ability to display multiple pages that you can view by carrying out a click on tabs. Do not, however, have no need to clicuiti by mniuri to open a new window; instead, press CTRL+T to view an empty page in a new tab, along with the cursor in the address bar.

2. The best google researches

One of the most appreciated facilities of Firefox (although it is poorly documented), a means ability to perform searches of the address bar. When insert a time limit of the search into the address bar, browser redirects to Google and automatically search term. But these results are based on the principle ‘I feel lucky”: you are sent to the most popular page that corresponds to your search.

3. History

Firefox provides a way to erase the selected pages, both in the history of browsing as well as of the address bar history, retaining instead everything. To delete an entry on the menu drop down with pages visited, in the address bar, place it with the mouse to the page and click Delete.

To edit history press Ctrl+H to open side bar History. Perform right-click in the page you want to remove and select Delete. If you want to delete more than one page, all adjacent between them, make a right-click on the first of them and select Delete. When it dies, what lies beneath will be highlighted and you can simply hit Delete on the keyboard until they disappear.

Safari browser developed by Apple will have some competition soon.

Although most would think that it is consecrated Firefox, Mozilla takes us out today contradict the ramp with other plans: “Junior”, a brand new browser optimized for the Apple iPhone and iPad especially.

As the name suggests, we should not expect a complex browser as we used to use on PCs, Mozilla “Junior” is meant to be an application easy to navigate to the Internet: no tabs, no who-knows-what customization facilities.

Moreover, basic elements are missing, even though today no longer focus (eg loading bar), shows how rudimentary is the application stage. Stage to say that there is a big difference to the “Junior” will be released for iPhone and iPad.

Mozilla targets by implementing a single interface for desktop and mobile versions of Firefox web browser. With this change, the company wants to provide users who often switch between desktop PC and mobile phone or tablet, a familiar experience with Mozilla Firefox.

For this, Mozilla aims to design a modern theme, but friendly and intuitive, designed to represent “Firefox experience” across all platforms and devices formats. The challenge is to merge the distinctive visual style, then identifying Firefox web browser, with features specific design platforms: Android, Windows 8 (Metro), B2G and Windows 7.

Some design elements that define Firefox, curved shapes such as windows and menus, can be identified on all these platforms.

The desktop version, the new interface name Australis can be studied in various models and third-party implementations. Among the distinctive elements have curved tabs, a simplified menu and other fine improvements. Separately, Mozilla is working on a version with enhanced functionality to the home page, a download manager that’s looking cleaner.

Mobile version of Firefox is already closely the new interface design theme. Further changes will do even more closer look interface for desktop version, designed Australis, in order to ensure as consistent experience on both platforms.

About Firefox for Windows 8, adapted to interface Metro, it will have some similarities with Internet Explorer, left to ease the transition to the new Web browser users. For example, list down tabs at the top of the screen and not sideways, and tabs are represented by thumbnail Metro rectangular style interface.

Firefox 12 comes just a month and a half after Firefox 11, bringing minor improvements in terms of functionality and stability.

The latest version of Firefox does not mention anything about resource consumption and performance improvement, criticized aspects by users that have weak PCs.

Firefox 12 boasts that since now can be updated without having to confirm the security dialog displayed by User Account Control (UAC). In fact, Mozilla plans to switch to a Firefox update mechanism automatically, as new versions of Web browser is installed without user as soon as they become available through the official channel.

The search has been improvements in the content page and download manager allows automatic download URLs added. The list also includes improvements and updated set of media controls for video playback HTML5 API.

Overall, Firefox 12 is a minor update to Mozilla Web browser, with limited improvements “under the hood”, but without a major impact on the functionality offered.

Timeline interface is criticized by many users of social network (Facebook). Undoubtedly, the main reason it’s because of the aspect (or it should be), because there can be no intimacy.

Thus, sensitive moments when, under the influence of certain conditions (too euphoric or, conversely, sadness), prompted you to post statuses and/or compromising photos that can be viewed and used against you by malevolent people.

Because Facebook has no explicit option to disable the timeline, the easiest solution is to resort to extensions that do this by simply installing them. Because it runs in the browser, there are separate extensions for Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer. Soon, such extension will be available for Safari.

Notice! Timeline will disappear only in the browser where you install these extensions, in other words they are useful only for personal use, for those who want to get rid of this interface. Another drawback is that, currently, extension concerns only the user profile, not Facebook pages.

Disable Timeline in Google Chrome

Launch Chrome browser and go to the Tools -> Extensions.

Click Get More Extensions link at the bottom.

Remove Timeline Search extension and install it.

Note extension (active by default) in the upper right corner of your browser.

If the Timeline is not resolved after you install the Facebook homepage refresh or restart your browser.

Remove Timeline available options offered appear right clicking the icon. These are: Disable (if you return to the Timeline), Uninstall (Removing extension), Hide Button (hiding icon associated extension).

Disable Timeline in Mozilla

Click on the link to Remove Timeline extension

I bet that at least once if you were angry because of the Internet, even if your internet connection is not working, is stuck or simply you were looking for something important and urgent and on the screen appears a big error and you can’t do anything to solve the problem. Well, I think it’s time you should change your browser!

You also might think what’s the best solution. Well here is up to you and you should know what you do with that browser.

From the many browsers that are on the web, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox seem most interested, but my favorite remains Chrome simply because the load is faster than all other browsers and on this occasion I will make a little presentation.

First Google Chrome does not have addons and extensions like toolbars what pisses me off the ridge and also difficult start viewing web pages and browser.

Second, the Chrome gives good protection against certain threats (viruses, bugs, exploits) that are on the net and that Internet Explorer is exposed most.

Thirdly, is the browser speed when you access the Internet and of curse, simplicity in use.
